Dr. Rikhab C. Jain aged 77 years, Founder Chairman of T.T Group has been in Textile Business for more than 50 years. He had graduated from St. Xavier’s college at Kolkata. He had completed his M.B.A in Marketing and Business Management from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. He is a Chartered Secretary from U.K and a Fellow Member of the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries. He had received an honorary Ph.D degree in Business Management from West Indies University. He had been a visiting Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. He had organized First Indian Knitwear Export Fair in 1994 at Taj Hotel, Mumbai. He had been Chief Co-ordinator of First International Knitting Congress held in New Delhi in 1985. He had been Chairman of Indian Knitting Industry centenary celebrations having biggest 8000 strong industry gathering at Kolkata and New Delhi. He had been Chairman of Knitwear Cell of Apparel Export Promotion Council and an active Member in formulating AEPC incorporation by converting Knitwear & Garment Wing of TEXPROCIL. Past Committee Member of TEXPROCIL (Garment Wing), AEPC, Delhi State Industrial Advisory Committee, Hosiery Panel of Textile Ministry, etc. He had been Chairman of FOHMA & Hosiery Manufacturers’ Association, Delhi. Chairman of Northern India Textile Mills Association. He had organized various Trade Fairs and exhibitions and presented papers at National and International forums. He had headed various religious related organizations, NGOs running school & hospitals. He is patron of sports organization particularly for vetran Cricket, Table Tennis, Basket Ball and Lal Bahadur Sastri Hockey tournaments. He had represented in various state and national level committees on Textile Industry, Marketing, Drug De-Addiction, ISI and so on. He is a self-made entrepreneur starting with few lacs of rupees of investment and has presently turnover of about 500 crores per year. In sixtees he pioneered hosiery exports from India. During the past two decades he had built up strong yarn exports and lately for late some seven years he had pioneered cotton exports from India.
